Abstract
The results of half-metallic ferromagnets formed by atomic nanocontact of CrO2-CrO2 and CrO2-Ni showing 400% magnetoconductance were presented. It was found that magnetoconductance of nanocontacts follows universal scaling. If the conductance was scaled to the resistivity of the material and maximum magnetoconductance was normalized to unity, then all data points fell into a universal curve that was independent of the contact material and the transport mechanism.
