Abstract

Magnetic and transport properties of CexLa1-xP were investigated to reveal anomalous properties observed in CeP. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility in the paramagnetic region was not affected by replacing 10% of Ce by La, while the magnetic behavior in the ordered state changes; the various magnetic phases seen in pure CeP were not observed.
