Abstract
The integration of information photonics and 3-D imaging systems for low-cost automated screening and characterization of biological specimen is presented. In particular, 3-D holographic imaging and computational models are described that provide potentially powerful tools for rapid noninvasive 3-D sensing, identification, and tracking of biological micro/nanoorganisms.
