Abstract

The complex permeability spectra in amorphous ribbons of Co66Fe4NiB14Si15 were studied varying AC field amplitude and the specimen angle with respect to the ribbon axis. The spectra changed with AC field amplitude from relaxation at 500 kHz to double relaxations at 500 kHz and lower frequency. Identification of the sources of double relaxations was made as domain wall displacement and rotation processes, respectively, from the variation of permeability spectra with transverse magnetic field and orientation.
