Abstract

The influence of a cryogenic treatment on the magnetoimpedance properties of Fe-based (Fe60.8Co20.2B14Si5, Fe76.8Ni1.2B13.2Si8.8) and FeNi-based (Fe40Ni40P8B12, Fe 40Ni40B20) amorphous alloys was investigated. The magnetoimpedance measurements were made in the frequency range from 100 kHz to 10 MHz. It has been found that cryogenic treatment increased the magnetoimpedance effect to 50%.
