Abstract

Core losses and permeability spectra have been studied as a function of laser power and surface scribing pattern in high permeability grain oriented electrical steels. It has been shown that the analysis of modifications in the complex permeability spectra of laser scribed samples can be useful for revealing of optimal technological parameters for the laser treatment of Si steels.
