Abstract

A scheme to calculate the dynamics of coupled chaotic flows is proposed to clarify the controversies of Baker, Blackburn, and Smith's (BBSs) model for synchronization. Using this scheme, it is shown that there exists a certain parameter interval in which the coupled pendula system is actually synchronized.
