Abstract

Recently, The X-ray imaging technique has been widely used in the industrial inspection area. Due to the penetration property of X-ray, there are limitations in the recognition of objects that are overlapped each other. This paper presents a method for the image separation via object translation moving XY table. In this paper some mathematical functions for the image separation are derived. Using these functions, desirable results for the image separation are obtained. Simulation results confirm that the method introduced in this paper will be a powerful tool for separating objects from overlapped X-ray image.
