Abstract
The effects of neutron irradiation on the magnetic properties in Fe87Zr7B6 (at%) amorphous ribbon were studied by hysteresis loop and complex permeability measurements. The fluxes of thermal (nth) and fast neutrons (nf) fluences were 3.09 × 1013nthcm-2s-1 and 1.87 × 1011nf cm-2s-1, respectively. After neutron irradiation, the imaginary part of complex permeability in low-frequency region decreased due to the decrease of wall motion, but the permeability in high-frequency region increased due to the enhancement of rotational magnetization. As a whole, initial permeability in neutron irradiated sample was larger than that in as-quenched one, but the coercive force and saturation magnetization did not change significantly after neutron irradiation.
