Abstract
Planar Hall Resistance (PHR) has been measured in spin-valve structure as function of magnetizing angle α from the easy axis of the free layer. The PHR curves are sensitively changed with α, and becomes anti-symmetric at α=90°. These various PHR curves, being qualitatively consist with magnetization curves, are well ascribed for by the domain rotation. The PHR signal change and their field sensitivity are revealed to be maximum at α=15°, 140 μV and 18.7 μV/Oe respectively, for 1 mA sensing current.
