Abstract
The transport and magnetic properties are studied on Pr5 Ni2 Si3, which has several magnetic orderings. Ferromagnetic/ferrimagnetic orderings are observed at 70 and 55 K and an antiferromagnetic ordering occurs at 43 K. The signature of spin fluctuation is observed below TN. The spin fluctuation is suppressed when the magnetic field exceeds the metamagnetic transition field, Hm = 3, T below 12 K, whereupon the magnetoresistance decreases steeply.
