Abstract

In this letter, we propose a high resolution time of arrival (TOA) estimation algorithms by using total least square (TLS) based on IEEE 802.15.4a CSS for indoor geolocation. We verify the proposed algorithms through Monte-Carlo simulations in the indoor channel models of IEEE 802.15.4a. The proposed TLS MP can estimate TOA between transceivers more accurately than MP about 0.5m to 1.7m at high SNR in CM1.
