Abstract

The specific heats of CeP under hydrostatic pressures up to 0.5 GPa were measured over a temperature range of 1.6-25 K. The antiferromagnetic transition at 10.2 K was found to split into two transitions. One of them exhibited a large positive pressure dependence of 20 K/ GPa while the other showed a weak pressure dependence.
