Generalized phase synchronization in unidirectionally coupled chaotic oscillators

Abstract

The phase synchronization between two identical or detuned response oscillators coupled to a slightly different drive oscillator was investigated. It was shown the that phase synchronization can occur between response oscillators when they are driven by correlated inputs from the drive oscillators. Lyapunov exponents, phase trajectories and time series analysis were used to confirm the results.
