Charge ordering in rare-earth manganese oxides

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Based on the interacting small polaren model, we have investigated charge ordering (CO) phenomena observed in half-doped manganites R1/2A1/2MnO3. First, we have examined the charge gap formation in the single particle electronic structure in the CO phase. Second, we have studied the renormalization of the sound velocity around TCO, and compared the origin of the renormalization in the CO phase with that in the low doping metallic phase.
