Abstract

The multispin heat bath dynamical (MHBD) simulation was employed to investigate the ordering kinetics for the axial next-nearest-neighbor Ising (ANNNI) model. The anisotropic domain growth of self-affine domains was analyzed by the MHBD algorithm thereby overcoming the strong pinning effects at zero temperature. The dynamical scaling law for the domain growth was also observed. The calculated domain growth exponent values were contributed to the 3- and 4-body diffusion-reaction processes of domain walls.
